Isn't it gorgeous? Huh? Isn't it?

The to-do list for this room is still not all checked off, but at least it's starting to look like a room again!

Here is the before, for anyone who is interested...

Looks like just the room to eat in! I like the way it fits the furniture...I was wondering how it would fit. Are you planning on keeping the dining room suite?

I liked the before picture better. I loved that wallpaper.

Whatever, "anonymous." Whatever.

Neighmond, I'm probably going to keep it although it is not quite in keeping with my personal style. It seems to suit the room OK.

I hate to say it, but I liked the "before" better too. It seemed more in keeping with a Victorian farmhouse. (At least in the photo. I am aware that in person, it may have been frightening.)

But hey, the differences between us all is part of what makes the world go round! If you love it, that's all that counts!

My whole philosophy is that I am NOT living in a museum. I abide by Secretary of Interior Standards in that everything I do is easily reversible.

You are right that in person the wallpaper was not attractive. Not in the slightest. Plus, I have a strong preference for paint over wallpaper...which always looks too fussy for me.

So beautiful, Gina. Those floors make me drool and green with envy. I want to see it IRL someday.
